Old Wooden Head is ALIVE!

ok. The 'Head is out of the cold dark dank brewery and officially been moved to Comic Bookland (my bathroom... so cleverly covered in Marvel Comic covers...) ... and we are moving. The yeast is coming alive... The Trub (pronounced "troob") is moving.. the yeast is letting me know it's got some spine.

Chad... my boy with the 'Fish (aka Mr. Zima) has been there for me all the way.... and i'm happy he's out there for me now.

SMUTTYNOSE in GEORGIA

Smuttynose from Portsmouth New Hampshire has crossed into Georgia. Snapped this at Green's on Ponce on friday of last week. I grabbed a 6 pack of the IPA...and it's much better than the one I had over Xmas. Another awesome brewery finally here in Dixie.

LUX INTERIOR of the CRAMPS is dead.

Lux Interior, frontman of the seminal Cramps, died in California wednesday of heart failure. He was 62.

If you don't know about The Cramps, you really need to see what Lux and his wife Poison Ivy

Rorschach did for the seedy underside of rock in the 80's. Taking a Screamin Jay Hawkins take on Zacherle...Interior began Elvis on a week long pill bender.
